TORCIDA OSIJEK

Torcida Osijek - introduce yourself...How many members do you have? How old are you? When did you start following Hajduk?
There are 10 or so of us that are active ultras. Our years range from 20 to 23. On away games some started going in season 95/96, while others started in the seasons after that.

How long have you been a group, and how did you find each other?
As a group we formed in season 99/00 while we still went to the games before that but in smaller groups of 2 or 3.

How are you going to games, now and then? With a train, cars?
At first we always went with car pulling and train, then later on with cars and combi.

Where did you go this season?
This season we went everywhere except for Zadar and Farse islands.

The best and the worst away game?
Ultras 1: The best: Zapresic (the fight with the Boys that lasted whole day, first in Zagreb, then in Zapresic too), Gyor (crazy drunkness in Budimpesht day before and on the day of the game), Budimpesht (jokes and drinking day before in the center, and on the day of the game the fight with Hungarians).
The worst have to be the ones in Croatian villages where there is a chance that you might die for the boredom.
Ultras 2: There were a lot of good away games and even more of bad ones. In this season my favorite were in Kantrida and in Maribor, and from before Bari and Sl. Brod in 2000. The worst to me are: Suhopolje, Cakovec, Koprivnic and similar.
Ultras 3: The best are the ones where something happened (Maribor, Zagreb, Rijeka), and the wrost are the passive ones where nothing happens.
Ultras 4: Gelsenkirechen, Maribor, Zapresic and Bloody Derby in 1996 in Zagreb.

How are the relations of Torcida and Kohorta in Osijek? Back then and now? Who is responsible for those relations?
Relations are more or less ok, we are good with a few individials while about them as a group we have nothing to say.

Are there BBB Osijek and how are you with them? Were there any fights with them?
Ultras 2: There are some individuals that follow Dinamo but they are not typical BBB.
Ultras 3: As a group they don't exist but there are few of them that travel. If it was a serious group the fights with them would already have happened.
Ultras 4: I respect 2 or 3 BBB from Osijek, while others are pussies.

How are other groups of Torcida in Slavonia? Are you connected with them?
Ultras 1: I'm good with a few of them from Dakovo and Nisice, while majority of Hajduk supporters from slavonia are not Torcida.
Ultras 4: I'm good with those from Dakovo, Nisica and Sl. Brod. In Slavonia I also respect those from Belisce, but they are not in our type of stuff.
Ultras 3: I respect Torcida Dakovo while I don't think nothing about the rest.

Is there a club of supporters or a Group of Friends of Hajduk in Osijek and do you have anything to do with them?
We've heard that there use to be GFH but with them we never had any contact.

Do you have relations with the club of supporters from Split?
We don't.

Are you connected with Torcida from Split?
Ultras 3: We're in contact with the group from away games.
Ultras 4: Since I first started going away to games I'm in contact with Split's group, I hear from them a lot, we exchange the information and prepare traveling for away games.

How was the older Torcida in Osijek and what is now with them? How are you with them?
There was a really good group which went to away games at the begginning of 90's, and some of them come to games these days.

Do you have a younger group of Torcida from Osijek joining you?
Sadly we have no younger group of Torcida compared to those in Rijeka or Zagreb.

Do you have any influences when it comes to ultras/supporters scene?
Ultras 2: To me personally, the best look is of Torcida from the 80's.
Ultras 3: I respect English fans because of the fights, alcohol and numbers, with Italians I respect the fans of Fiorentina and Napoli while in Greece they are the most fanatical. To all Torcida from 80's would have to be an influence. The imprtant factors are coreography and flares, but the fights are the most interesting.
Ultras 4: I respect some from Italy and England because of their style, all in all thats our style from 80's.
Ultras 1: In Europe I respect only English fans, while others more or less copy them. I hate coreography (baloons, papers and other shit).

Do you take banners with you on the games?
At the moment we carry Croatian flag Osijek. Before we had some banners where I would mention another flag Torcida Osijek which went through a lot of away games.
